The Tuesday book: The Little Bookstore of Big Stone Gap, by Wendy Welch

A book about a used bookstore? Yes, please.
The Little Bookstore of Big Stone Gap is the memoir of how a couple opened up a bookstore on a tight budget and succeeded. Wendy Welch and her husband, Jack, had been dreaming of opening a bookstore for years. When they found the perfect spot in a little town, they decided to buy it.
The pair opened their bookstore in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, population 5,000, to a lot of fanfare from locals. There was a ribbon-cutting ceremony in October, and Adrianna Trigiani, who lives in their town, showed up. The fanfare died down, and Jack and Wendy got worried. Sales were slow, and people kept saying they couldn't buy used books for Christmas, so they came up with a couple crazy marketing schemes, which eventually worked.
All in all, The little Bookstore of Big Stone Gap was a really good book. I'd call it the ultimate book for book lovers.
