Bookstore update

We want to expand the bookstore again, but to do that, we need your help. We want to have a brick and mortar store again, hire some employees, and buy new books, among other things. We need $250,000 to pay for everything.

In order to raise the money we need, we’re selling some discounted gift certificates that will be good for the new brick and mortar store. We’re also running a sale on the used books to help pay for everything; you get 50% off when you use the promo code preloved, and the sale is going on indefinitely, until we get the money we need. You also get a free bookmark made by Maryland artist Tara Fly when you buy from our online store.

People who live in or near Baltimore, MD also get free same-day delivery. This includes all of Baltimore County, and Bel Air, Fallston, Jarrettsville, Forest Hill, Abingdon, and Churchville, in Harford County.

Transparency is a pretty big thing these days, so we thought we’d share where the money is going. Below is a list of what we plan to spend the money on. If you’d like to know more, email us at carpelibrumbooksandart@gmail.com.
